Great base for exploring Paramaribo. Good value, nice looking 3 star hotel. Accommodating staff, large rooms with breakfast included. Excellent location for our visit to a wooden Roman Catholic cathedral around 10-15 minutes walk from the venue. Set in a historic area really close to a nice area of Paramaribo and the Amazon rainforest. Free parking nearby provided. Not to mention excellent wifi!

A quick and honest take
Located in the heart of the city, the ambiance is warm and inviting. Spacious rooms come with good air conditioning and solid Wi-Fi. The breakfast is a highlight, especially the omelette. Staff are helpful, guiding you on local transport and activities. An excellent choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking comfort and convenience!

Clean with good bed, central location
Limited parking as prime spots seem reserved, leaving guests with street parking. The mattresses felt more like plywood than comfort-definitely need an upgrade. The shower experience wasn't great either. Weak water flow and a leaky washbasin led to wet feet.

Staying at the Hotel Palacio was quite enjoyable. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the UNESCO-listed center of Paramaribo. Rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and a good Wi-Fi connection. The staff, including Rochelle and Barbara, were helpful, assisting with everything from organizing taxi transfers to providing local recommendations. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, especially the Suriname omelette. I did encounter a few issues. The mattress was overly firm, which affected my sleep quality. The showers lacked hot water . Despite these inconveniences, the friendly service and great location were good.

I had a great time enjoying the clean, spacious room and the delicious Suriname omelette at breakfast. The sun terrace and comfy leisure room were perfect for unwinding after a day out. One minor hiccup was the occasional weak Wi-Fi, but it didn't take away from my overall positive vibe 🌞

Staying here with friends killed it! The location is prime. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast was a highlight with tasty options. Definitely recommend grabbing coffee at the hotel to kickstart your day!
One downside was the Wi-Fi, which could be weak in certain areas. It was a bit annoying at times when we needed to look up places to visit quickly.
